December 2011 Dear Colorado Daughters, December finds each of us busy with many tasks both for our chapters and our families. We will share our love for the Veterans with Christmas parties, clear our pantries to give to the less fortunate, join in Wreaths Across America ceremonies, celebrate with chapter members at chapter holiday events, attend school programs, bake cookies, do our shopping and wrapping, and still find time to complete the Master Questionnaire! Kinnikinnik Chapter will host our Winter Board of Management Meeting which will be held January 28, 2012 at the Embassy Suites, Colorado Springs. The Call and Registration information are listed on this website under State Events. We will be having workshops on both Saturday morning before the Board meeting and Saturday afternoon after the Board meeting presented by Susan Cameron, State Parliamentarian, so please make plans to attend both of these very informative workshops. The State Conference Committee has been busy putting together an exciting 2012 Colorado State Conference held April 20-22 at the Embassy Suites and Conference Center in Loveland Colorado. Mark your calendars now for our 109th Colorado State Conference. If you are planning on attending Continental Congress June 27-July 1, 2012 and wish to serve on a Congressional Committee, please let me know before January 1st. The list will be sent to National at that time for their consideration of appointments to the Congressional committees. I wish you peace and joy for the Holidays as we bring 2011 to a close and begin 2012, and I look with anticipation to the many accomplishments we Colorado Daughters will achieve together in the New Year.
