History
Mrs. William F. Slocum, Organizing Regent, founded the Colorado State Society of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) May 13, 1895. Thirty-nine DAR chapters serve throughout the state of Colorado to promote education, historic preservation, and patriotism.
