 Welcome to
the Zebulon
Pike Chapter's Website!
Zebulon Pike
Chapter, NSDAR, is located in Colorado Springs, CO.
It is the oldest
chapter in the state.
We are a volunteer
service organization based on lineage to someone
who fought or gave aid to the American
Revolution (1775-1783). We
have many functions. DAR schools
are supported. We
encourage good citizenship, and promote historic preservation of buildings,
objects, and documents. We
further members' research in genealogy. Essay contests
are held, and we give awards, and provide
scholarships. We
march in parades,
uphold our military, and cherish our veterans. We
elevate the Constitution of the United States,
and advance the principles on which this country
was founded. In addition,
we have fun at
monthly luncheons or teas and while gathering
with other chapters at the yearly State
Conference and the National Continental Congress
in Washington, D.C.
