Welcome to the Overland Trail Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution webpage.
Overland Trail is a new chapter, organized the 11th of August 2012
with members from the LaPorte and northern Colorado communities. We
are enthusiastic women, 18 years old to 88 years young proudly serving
God, Home, and Country through our volunteer service. Overland Trail
Daughters join the more than 170,000 DAR members around the world who
are dedicated to keeping America strong by promoting patriotism, supporting
education programs and historic preservation.
Any woman 18 years or older - regardless of race, religion, or ethnic
background - who can prove direct lineal descent from a patriot of the
American Revolution, is eligible for membership. We invite you to attend
one of our meetings to learn more about the Overland Trail Chapter and the
Daughters of the American Revolution. We meet on the first Saturday of the
month at 10am. For more information about the Overland Trail Chapter or
for membership questions, please contact Sue Harmon.
